My name is Kara Scarberry and I am a second grade Title1 math and reading teacher at Wilder Elementary school.  I received my Bachelor's degrees from Ohio University and my Master's degree from The Ohio State University.  This is my 16th year of teaching, most of them have been in second grade.  I began my teaching career here at Wilder with my student teaching experience.

      My family consists of my husband, our two children and our many pets.  We live here in Westerville and my children attend Westerville City Schools.  We moved to the area when we were expecting our son.  I felt that the Westerville City School district provided many wonderful opportunities for their students and I wanted my own children to have these same opportunities.  

       When I have "free" time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, playing with our dogs and watching NASCAR races.
