Trail Blazer students for December, January, and February were a positive influence at Wilder Elementary through the winter months. Pupils who were selected as leaders by their teachers in grades 2-5, accomplished the following:
- Designed Valentine’s Day cards for patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital;
- Teamed with former fall Trail Blazers to bowl with parents at the Westerville Community Bowl-a-thon;
- Created a banner about empathy for the building; and
- Helped for Right to Read Week by greeting special guest readers.
Winter Trail Blazer students are Najma Abdullahi, Nazar Berlinsky, Kenny Biddle, Damien Cradle, Olivia Ferguson, Grishma Ghimirey, Scarlet Gongwer, Jackson Lawless, Ana Longo, Brooklyn Martinez, Alyssa Niehoff, Cole Swonguer, Beth Tsegay, and Jorja Warner.
The students worked with School Counselor Elizabeth Wolfgang, and the Wilder PTA purchased shirts for the group.
