Martin Luther King, Jr. Award Winners Recognized by Westerville Board of Education

The Westerville City Schools Board of Education and Superintendent John Kellogg honored three Fouse Award recipients on February 25 – fifth grade Wilder Elementary student Mali Wilkinson, eighth grade St. Paul pupil Ellie Reash, and Westerville Central High School senior Kennedy Kandi.  Fouse awards were bestowed at the 2019 Westerville Martin Luther King, Jr. breakfast held on January 21. 

Alston Award winner Cynthia DeVese, Coordinator of Minority Student Achievement in the Westerville City School District, was recognized as well.  She was nominated by Dr. Kellogg, who said, “Cynthia’s graceful, thoughtful and persistent leadership style has earned her the trust and respect of staff, students, and families across our community.”
