On Thursday evening, November 30, Wilder Elementary School hosted a Kindergarten Literacy Night.  The staff put together games, books, and activities for kindergarten students to use with their family.  The evening started with pizza and a discussion about the importance of literacy on the home front.  Families were then free to move from four different classrooms where staff explained how to play easy literacy games at home.  All of the activities were given to the children to keep.  They were also encouraged to take free books.  It was a great evening and the staff, students, and parents had fun learning and playing new games.  Wilder personnel hope to make this an annual event.
