Wilder’s Trail Blazers were identified by their teachers as leaders in the school.
Wilder Elementary School’s Trail Blazer students for October and November, selected as leaders by their teachers, have had a busy couple of months. Their accomplishments include:
- Participating as stakeholders in a discussion of blended learning with Instructional Coach Brian Meyer, and Blended Learning Coach Rachel Lacy;
- Helping to create a Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) expectation video about the appropriate way to behave in the cafeteria, in the hallway, at recess, and in the restrooms;
- Collecting money for “My Hero” Veteran’s day cards; and
- Leading the school in a food drive for Westerville Caring and Sharing by making posters, doing announcements, and collecting the items.
Trail Blazer students for October and November are: Christian Hoppe, Cassidy Crum, Jackson Rice, Samantha Luke, Charis Deacon, Brice Graves, Emma Motzer, Lily Grace, Berkley Moore, Jude O’Donnell, Bhaskar Dhungel, Sierra Taylor, Marie Jimena, and Loren Anderson. School Counselor Elizabeth Wolfgang leads the group.
