Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 11, because that is when the Wilder Pioneer Run will take place, benefiting the school’s PTA and the National Alliance of Mental Illness. The event will take place at Hoff Park in Westerville, featuring two races – a 100-meter dash for children (starting at 8:45 a.m.), plus a 5K (beginning at 9:00 a.m.). Cost to participate is $20 for adults; $15 for students ages 6-18; and $10 for Wilder pupils. Children five and under are free. Every participant will get a t-shirt and a medal. This family-friendly activity will also include a face painter, balloon animal creator, bouncy house and DJ.
