Dozens of children enjoyed the Maker-Space hands-on activity stations set up in front of Hanby Elementary.

The Westerville Visitors & Convention Bureau ended its 2016 season of Mount Carmel St. Ann’s 4th Friday Celebrations with Fall Fest on September 23, featuring displays highlighting the students, staff and academic excellence of the Westerville City School District.  A “Maker Space” was set up in front of Hanby Elementary School so participants could get creative and complete hands-on challenges.  The Fab Lab was also on site to showcase technology available to pupils, and activities geared towards preschoolers were enjoyed on the lawn.  School personnel also sought families willing to participate in an interactive audio-visual production that will ultimately be found on the district’s website, www.wcsoh.org.
