SPLASH Summer Enrichment Academy Underway in the Westerville School District

Art teacher Katie Wirthlin shares some tricks of the trade with a student during a Summer SPLASH course called “Get Dirty with Clay.”

 

 

The SPLASH Summer Enrichment Academy is in full swing at Westerville North High School, to provide academic and creative challenges to highly motivated students who will be entering grades 2-8 during the 2015-16 school year.  The one-week program, which ran from June 1-5, was coordinated by the Westerville City Schools Office of Gifted Education and Summer School.  It has provided a multitude of interesting classes for youngsters who signed up, including:

  • Scrapbooking for Beginners
  • No Strings Attached
  • Digital Art Introduction
  • Anyone Can Learn to Code
  • Mock Trial
  • Get Dirty with Clay
  • Fencing
  • Design a Logo
  • Talking Silently
