Whittier Singers Entertain at the Alum Creek Park Amphitheater

Whittier families enjoyed hearing their children sing outside in the Alum Creek Amphitheater.

 

 

The Whittier Singers, a fourth and fifth grade after-school choir, presented a choral showcase titled Putting It Together: A Celebration of 2016-2017 on Friday, May 12.  The family performance took place at 6:30 p.m. at the amphitheater in Alum Creek Park.  The showcase consisted of student-selected pieces along with highlights from their 2016-2017 performances, including Circle of LifeUnderneath the TreeHow Far I’ll GoWe Built This City, and We Are the World 25 for Haiti.  Throughout the season, the group was directed by Evan McIntyre with assistance from student teacher Riley Bivens; choreographer Zack Triscari; and accompanist Josh Ice.
