Playing soccer was just one of the activities Whittier children were offered on Field Day.
Mother Nature smiled on students and staff at Whittier Elementary School on November 4 by providing the perfect backdrop for a special Field Day, organized by Physical Education teacher Tom Carter. A number of volunteers manned stations inside and outside as children moved from activity to activity, all designed to show that physical activity is not only important, but fun!
