Robert Frost Elementary School students enjoyed hands-on activity stations that were set up throughout the gymnasium.
COSI on Wheels once again visited students at Robert Frost Elementary School, this year bringing the It’s Simply Chemistry program, designed to enhance knowledge of chemistry in our daily lives.
During the November 1 assembly, pupils experimented with solutions to determine if they were acids or bases; identified unknown substances by examining their properties; and produced light, heat and sound with a chemical reaction. The children also had the opportunity to discover more about solving mysteries with chemistry through a series of hands-on activities set up around the gymnasium, and manned by a team of volunteers.
