Where can one go to hang out with Amelia Earhart, Vincent Van Gogh, Abraham Lincoln, Jackie Robinson, Stan Lee and Isaac Newton – all at the same time?  To Robert Frost Elementary School’s 2019 Wax Museum, that’s where.  Parents and fellow classmates packed the gymnasium on May 10 to see fifth grade students dressed in elaborate costumes portraying influential men and women, patriots, sports figures, entertainers, innovators and scientists.  Pupils chose to honor someone who inspired them by posing as that person’s wax figure.  When visitors walked by and “pushed the button,” the historical figures “came to life,” sharing details about their accomplishments and telling what they did to become famous.  The event was a smashing success for participants and those who got to see them in action.
