The first Robert Frost Elementary School Family Book Club was so successful they decided to try it again.  A number of parents and fifth grade students gathered on Wednesday evening, February 27, to discuss Nine, Ten:  A September 11 Story by Nora Raleigh Baskin.  This is a look at the days leading up to the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and how that day affected the lives of four middle schoolers.

Prior to the meeting, parents were invited to read the book with their child at their own pace.  During the Book Club, an animated discussion took place about the theme, characters and responses to the text through a variety of activities.  The purpose of the Frost Family Book Club is to keep building a love for reading.
