Every single student at Robert Frost Elementary School got to add a topping to ice cream sundae Principal Sarah Berka.

It was a sweet reward, even though none of the students at Robert Frost Elementary School got to taste the giant ice cream sundae they created on September 28.  As a bonus for raising a whopping $14,800 for their school during the annual Walk-a-Thon on September 14, Principal Sarah Berka let her pupils turn her into an ice cream sundae.  Everyone gathered on the playground and one by one, each child approached the good-natured educator to cover her in a myriad of colorful sprinkles, whipped cream and even chocolate sauce.

Money raised from the Walk-a-Thon will be used for things like funding field trips, classroom parties, supplies, health and safety programs; providing and maintaining playground equipment; sponsoring school celebrations; providing student planners and teacher meals at conference times; and covering expenses for Invention Convention, GEM and Reflections competitions.
