Principal Sarah Berka, sporting a stylish new swim cap, knew she was in peril as students took aim.
On Friday afternoon, September 29, students at Robert Frost Elementary School gathered on the North lawn to watch and cheer as many took aim at their good natured teachers, staff and principal, all hovering precariously over a targeted tank of water. The activity was a spirited reward for the children, who raised $13,000 for their school during a Walk-A-Thon held on September 15. Top earners got the opportunity to throw balls at the dunk tank target. Money raised from the Walk-A-Thon will be used in classrooms and will cover expenses for field trips and additional activities.
