Classes for most Westerville City Schools students will begin on Thursday, August 18. Elementary pupils will start school at 9:05 a.m. and dismiss at 3:30 p.m. The middle school day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 2:45 p.m. High school classes will commence at 7:25 a.m. and finish at 2:05 p.m.
Kindergarten and special needs preschool starts Tuesday, August 23. Morning kindergarten runs from 9:05 to 11:40 a.m. Afternoon kindergarten sessions will be held from 12:55 to 3:30 p.m. Morning preschool classes will begin at 8:45 a.m. and dismiss at 11:15 a.m. Afternoon preschool classes will begin at 12:45 p.m. and end at 3:15 p.m.
Are you new to the Westerville City School District? Have you moved back recently? Those who have not yet registered should visit the district’s website at www.wcsoh.org, click on the green “Enrolling” tab on the home page, fill out the online application for registration and schedule an appointment to complete their enrollment. Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to finalize this process as soon as possible to ensure placement in their child’s assigned school.
