Students in Cindy Campbell’s fifth grade class and Katie Carter’s first grade class at Robert Frost Elementary School put their heads together on Friday, February 12, when they met to work on a STEM activity. The pupils were asked to create small boxes out of toothpicks and gum drops, then see how many conversation hearts would fit inside. They were charged with collaborating on a plan to solve the challenge.
