Robert Frost Elementary School students walked and ran around the track at Westerville North High School to raise money for PTA programs.

The weather was perfect on September 18 for Robert Frost Elementary School students who gathered on the track at Westerville North High School to complete laps during the annual Walk-A-Thon.  The lofty goal for this year’s fall fundraiser was $11,000, but students shattered all expectations by bringing in $12,709.  The money will be used by the PTA to provide programs and instructional tools for each student.  As a reward for their efforts, Principal Sarah Berka promised to continue her longstanding tradition of doing something “crazy” in front of the student body.  This year’s undertaking reportedly has something to do with a “human hamster ball.”
