The mission of Westerville City Schools is to prepare students to contribute to the competitive and changing world in which we live. To accomplish this, the district has scheduled four times during the 2014-2015 school year for the purpose of staff professional development, when focus will be placed on meeting the goals of the Continuous Improvement Plan.
Students will be released early on these days. Elementary schools will dismiss at 2:30 p.m.; middle school students will get out at 1:45 p.m.; and high school bus students will be released at 1:05 p.m. on the following dates:

- January 29, 2015
- February 26, 2015
