The Student Lighthouse Team at Pointview Elementary School, guided by reading specialist Elyson Barto, organized a canned food drive for Westerville Caring & Sharing.  Items were collected from November 27 to December 7, and when the dust settled, a whopping 1,280 nonperishable food items had been donated.  Tonya Mariscal’s first grade class brought in 246 cans and Ben Ashwill’s fourth grade class came up with 202 cans.  All classes participated with enthusiasm.
