On Friday, February 10, Pointview Elementary School celebrated December and January Student Leaders of the Month.  Pupils and their families were treated to a special breakfast.  In addition, Maker Space activities were shared with the special guests and they were able to enjoy time just “playing.”   Children at Pointview have been focused on traits from the Leader in Me book by Stephen R. Covey, which  teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.  The traits that students focused on for December and January were “Begin with the End in Mind” and “Put First Things First”.
