Now in its third year, the Pointview Reading Tutor Initiative is a volunteer-based tutoring program held at Pointview Elementary School, which is located at 720 Pointview Drive in Westerville.
The group holds lunchtime tutoring sessions once a week between October and April. During the 2015-2016 school year, nine volunteers tutored 18 students in the second and third grades.
This program is an offshoot of the Columbus Tutoring Initiative (CTI). CTI provides free training and support for tutors throughout the year.
