There’s a horse on the playground! Pointview Principal Jeanne Roth waved to her students as she departed with her horse, “Fox.”
Pointview Elementary Principal Jeanne Roth is retiring at the end of the school year. On Wednesday afternoon, May 14, students and staff at the school hosted an assembly in her honor where each grade level sang songs of gratitude and endearment, showed slides, and bestowed special gifts. Following the program, pupils went outside to watch as their beloved principal “rode off into the sunset” on her horse, brought to school in a trailer by her family as a special surprise for both Mrs. Roth and the children. Later that afternoon, a reception was held in the building where friends, family members, colleagues and administrators gathered to wish her a fond farewell.
