Kindergarteners at McVay Prove it is Never Too Early to Start Thinking about Careers

Messer Construction representatives provided kindergarten students with hard hats, goggles and vests.

 

 

 

During the last full week of school, kindergarten students at McVay Elementary have been learning about different careers.  They enjoyed visits from a nurse, doctor, pet insurance manager, cosmetologist, child psychologist, Master Sergeant in the Army and construction project manager, and have loved learning about what different people do when they go to work each day.  “I think it is great for them to understand different careers and where their lives can take them as they learn new hobbies and develop new interests,” said kindergarten teacher Alex Tresoline.  “We were especially lucky to have had some very generous guests who provided our students with take-home souvenirs!”
