Representative from Lowe’s, OhioHealth, Roush Hardware, Status Solutions and the City of Westerville Division of Police were presented with Resolutions of Appreciation at the January 22 Westerville City Schools Board of Education meeting. They were recognized for the role they played in equipping Westerville schools with Go Buckets. Last fall, 700 Go Buckets were placed in each classroom, containing various items that could be used during a natural disaster or lockdown situation, from first aid and safety supplies to food and sanitary products. The Board and Superintendent thanked these groups for volunteering their time and donating provisions to address proactively the need for students and staff to be prepared during an emergency.
