Students were surprised and thrilled when Edward Tulane visited their classrooms.

All students at McVay Elementary School have been reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, by New York Times best-selling author Kate DiCamillo.  This is the story of a china rabbit who was very pleased with himself, and for good reason – he was owned by a girl named Abilene, who adored him completely.  One day, however, he got lost, resulting in many amazing adventures.  The McVay pupils were surprised on February 1 when Edward Tulane dropped in to their classrooms for a visit.  This activity is part of McVay’s One School One Book program.
