The Westerville South High School Theatre Department is hosting a Drama Day Camp for students in grades two through eight from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21.  Cost is $50, which includes a Papa John’s Pizza lunch (cheese and pepperoni), juice boxes and sweet snacks.  A refrigerator and microwave will be available for youngsters who desire an alternate meal.

Children will learn about all aspects of the theatre, including technical education, improvisation, musical theatre and acting.  High school mentors, who will perform in a short presentation for parents when they pick up their campers at 3:00 p.m., will teach the lessons.

The camp will take place at Westerville South, which is located at 303 South Otterbein Avenue.  Online tickets can be purchased at www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/8532.  It is suggested that participants sign up soon, as space is limited and last year’s camp sold out.  Questions should be directed to Matt Wolfe at wolfem@wcsoh.org

Drop your students off and take advantage of some much-needed “mom and dad” time during the busiest days of the year!
