Hard work pays off at Annehurst Elementary School.  Just ask second grade students in Kelli Stuckey’s class.  Not only did good efforts and behavior earn them a pizza party (from the specials teachers or from the music, physical education, and art teachers), they also got to enjoy camping on the school grounds, thanks to Cabela’s Outfitters, whose representatives visited on Monday afternoon, May 18.  Stuckey has continued a camping theme in her classroom throughout the year and celebrated the final days of school with a campout.  The Cabela’s experts offered camping survival “do’s and don’ts.” They also showed the children how to assemble tents and coordinated backpack races.  It was a memorable day for students, teachers and parent volunteers.
