Mark Twain Elementary Stone Garden Encourages Visitors to Stand Out, Not Fit In

The beautiful new stone garden at Mark Twain Elementary School features brightly painted rocks and a sign that asks, “Why fit in when you are born to stand out?”

 

 

 

Every student at Mark Twain Elementary School got the opportunity recently to paint a stone for inclusion in a beautiful new garden at the front of the building.   Arriving visitors are now warmly welcomed by the colorful site, which is adorned with a sign asking, “Why fit in when you are born to stand out?”  Teacher Angie Lee, who organized the project, expressed her love for the way it turned out.
