Former classmates of Tucker Northeimer, now in the fifth grade, gather in the library with his little sister, Ella, and the new books they purchased in his memory. Each was adorned with the label on the left.
A Bucks for Tuck campaign at Mark Twain Elementary school raised more than $1,200, which was used to purchase 72 books for the library in memory of Tucker Northeimer. Northeimer was a kindergarten student when, in December of 2012, he lost his life at the hands of an impaired driver. He is remembered as a boy who “loved reading, school, his family, computer games, baking, and Jesus.”
