On Wednesday evening, May 10, members of Westerville’s VFW Post 7883 recognized two extraordinary teachers for their work in connecting veterans and veteran-related causes with local students. Dr. Ben Hartnell, a history teacher at Westerville North, was named High School Educator of the Year; and Chris Henricksen, a fifth grade teacher at Mark Twain and a U.S. Navy veteran, was honored as Elementary Educator of the Year.
