The Haunted Gym has become a much-anticipated tradition at Mark Twain Elementary, where thrills, chills and physical challenges lurk around every darkened corner of the school gymnasium.  Physical Education teacher Karen Garrison has treated pupils to this special activity for nearly 25 years.  She adds new challenges most every year to “scare away the lazybones and build monstrously fit students.”  This year’s activity stations included a haunted maze, bat cave, ghostly rolls, spider web, climbing wall, obstacle course and bone dig.
