The Westerville Education Foundation (WEF) today announced that it is making available a limited number of sponsorships for its new GAP Initiative Website, which launched on September 30, 2014.

“We’re offering local businesses a limited opportunity to become involved in this initiative by sponsoring our three new modules on the WEF website,” explained Fawaz Hamoui, chair of the WEF Development Committee.  “There are two sponsorship levels: Varsity and Junior Varsity. Only six Varsity sponsorships are available, while nine Junior Varsity sponsorships are available.”

Hamoui explained that each Varsity Sponsor will have their company logo displayed prominently on one of three web pages hosting each of the Foundation’s funding modules.  The logo also will link to the sponsor’s company website or Facebook page if desired.  Each Junior Varsity Sponsor will have their logo displayed in a slightly smaller size on one of the module’s pages and will have the option to link to their website or Facebook page for a nominal fee.

“We’ve already had the Westerville UPS Stores step up as our very first sponsor, which we appreciate greatly,” Hamoui said. “The Roebuck family, which owns and operates this business, had two children graduate from Westerville City Schools and saw this as an opportunity to pay it forward to other children in their community.”

Bill Roebuck explained that his two children experienced great success after graduating from high school and they now work in the family-owned business.  He said that it’s only fitting that they give back to the community by supporting the Foundation’s effort.

“Having a family business in Westerville is great.  Seeing many regular faces is part of the fun. Having the kids involved makes it even more exciting,” Roebuck explained.  “We appreciate the opportunity to support our Westerville School System.  It will be exciting to see the end result of this investment in our children’s future.”
