The Westerville City School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on July 20, 2020, via videoconference. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be streamed over the district’s YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/wcsdohio to comply with virtual meeting requirements, as well as to ensure compliance with the state’s recent extension of its mass-gathering ban. The purpose of the special meeting is to conduct required business and consider the Superintendent’s proposed learning plan for the 2020-21 academic year.

In the spirit of maintaining public participation during videoconference meetings, the Board will receive written public comment. Meeting details and all links necessary for the public to observe or submit written comment are available at https://www.wcsoh.org/virtualboe.

Public comment on the 2020-21 Responsible Restart proposed learning plan has been opened early and will be received electronically through the end of the Board meeting. Comments submitted by Noon on Monday, July 20, will be reviewed, compiled, and published on the Virtual BOE web page prior to the start of the meeting. Comments received after 12 p.m. that day will be published later as an addendum to the initial document.
