School Board Recognizes 14 PTA State Reflections Competition Participants

These pupils exceled in the areas of literature, music, dance, film/video production, photography and visual arts.

 

 

 

At the April 9 Westerville City Schools Board of Education meeting, 14 students were recognized for advancing to the 2017-2018 PTA State Reflections Competition in the areas of literature, music, dance, film/video production, photography and visual arts.  Two – Emma Combs (McVay Elementary, Primary Division, Music Composition) and Lily Vennemeyer (Heritage Middle School, Middle Division, Photography) have advanced to the national contest.  This year’s theme was Within Reach.  Program chair Jill French and co-chair Valerie Cumming organized the event for Westerville Parent Council, which serves as the sponsor for Reflections at the district level.
