Westerville Partners for Education (WPE) and Westerville City Schools (WCS) presented Technology in Our Classrooms (3rd in the series) on Monday evening, March 19, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Pointview Elementary School. This workshop is part of Tomorrow’s Learning Today. Teachers and administrators shared in a short presentation about what, how and why technology is being used to enhance student learning. They shared the broad research approach applied to our schools’ decision-making as the roadmap and curriculum are developed. Then, in an interactive experiential setting, students and teachers shared the technology and their experiences. Elementary, middle and high schools were on hand to demonstrate, share and answer questions.
In the Tomorrow’s Learning Today series, WPE and WCS bring together our schools and community (and even outside experts) to facilitate conversation about what Westerville City Schools are doing to understand the needs of commerce and students in order to fully prepare students for what comes next. By building this common understanding, the schools and community can work together for success.
