Westerville Partners for Education (WPE) and Westerville City Schools (WCS) will present Technology in Our Classrooms on Monday evening, March 19, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.  The event will take place at Pointview Elementary School, located at 720 Pointview Drive in Westerville.

Teachers and administrators will share in a short presentation about what, how and why technology is being used to enhance student learning.  Learn about the broad research approach applied to our schools’ decision-making as the roadmap and curriculum are developed.

Then, in an interactive experiential setting, find out what students are experiencing at all levels.  Teachers and pupils will demonstrate and answer all questions.

This workshop is part of the Tomorrow’s Learning Today initiative.  WPE and WCS are bringing together community leaders, outside experts and school representatives to facilitate an ongoing conversation about what the district is doing to understand the needs of tomorrow’s workforce by working with businesses and the community, and fully prepare students for tomorrow’s world of work.  The goal is to build common understanding about today’s learning and workforce realities and explore how we can work together for everyone’s success.
