Westerville Education Challenge Hosts Rock this Town 80s Party on February 3

Back to School News      Print News Article

Dance off those winter blues at what promises to be a totally awesome party supporting Westerville Education Challenge (WEC).  The Rock This Town 80’s Party will take place on Friday, February 3, at the Medallion Country Club from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.  Featured band is The Reaganomics, billed as the most exciting 80’s dance and party band in the Midwest.  Come celebrate the 80’s and help WEC raise money to support middle and high school programs that enhance character education and social and emotional well-being.

Since 2009, Westerville Education Challenge has donated more than $70,000 to Westerville City Schools to support Challenge Day at all three Westerville high schools; grants for educators; and their newest partnership with Westerville middle schools.  Help them “Be the Change.”

Celebrate the 80’s while supporting our kids’ future.  A $50 donation will cover one ticket to the Rock This Town 80’s Party, two drink tickets and heavy appetizers.  Eighties attire is optional, but the sponsors hope to see your turned up collared shirts and acid washed jeans.
