Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 3, because that’s when “Cindy de Mayo” will be held from 6:00-11:00 p.m. at the Medallion Country Club, located at 5000 Club Road in Westerville.  Tickets to the Cindy Crowe benefit cost $40 per person before April 30, and $50 per person at the door.  Payment can be sent to the Cindy Crowe ALS Fund, P.O. Box 1863, Westerville, OH 43086-1863.  Tickets can be purchased by contacting Vicki Jarrell at 797-7085, vljarrell@netscape.net , or Stephanie Martin at 361-5025, jsmartin@insight.rr.com .

Live music will be performed by Hat Trick.  A cash bar will be available, and heavy appetizers will be served.  In addition, a live and silent auction will take place, featuring items like golf outings at Medallion, New Albany, and Jefferson; a vacation for a week to anywhere in the world; a behind-the-scenes tour of OSU facilities; diamond jewelry; and much more.

The Crowe Wentzel Foundation will be organizing two fundraisers a year.  One will benefit the Foundation directly, which is for all patients battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease); and one to benefit Cindy Crowe, which will help her family manage the crushing cost of nursing care.  The Cindy de Mayo event is for Crowe, a member of the Westerville City Schools Board of Education.  Medallion Country Club has stepped up to help by providing the facility and food for the event.  Cindy and her husband, Alan, were the first members.
