Kindergarten registration is under way in the Westerville City School District for children who will be five years old on or before September 30, 2014. Individual appointments are being conducted at the Enrollment and Family Resource Center, which is located in the OhioHealth building at 300 Polaris Parkway.
Extra help is being offered to those who speak little or no English. Marlene Torrez-Graham, a Westerville Schools ESL Community Outreach and Parent Liaison, is working with Spanish-speaking parents. She helps guide them through the online process which, she says, has been a very positive and rewarding experience so far. “It has been wonderful to see women who never touched a computer do an amazing job,” she said.
