On March 14, the Huber Ridge Elementary School third grade classes of Elizabeth Comella, Myra Hozdic, Christina Myers, and Melissa Workman traveled to the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University to see the Tennessee Theatre Company’s Aesop Fables. The field trip was made possible after receiving a generous grant from Target Field Trips through Scholarship America. Students were able to witness four fables come to life through the theater company’s production. The field trip aligned with Ohio’s Third Grade Learning Standards in Reading, as fables are part of the curriculum being taught in the classroom.
