The Westerville City School district is hosting the 11th annual Elementary LEGO Competition on Saturday morning, April 29, in the main gymnasium at Westerville North High School.  The event is open to all Westerville City School and St. Paul School students in grades K-5.  Each year, nearly 130 participants attend, along with family members who come to cheer them on.  This year, the Westerville North Music Boosters Association will facilitate the event.  Proceeds will benefit the Westerville North High School music program.  Dr. Scott Ebbrecht, Director of Alternative Education Services and Assessment, affirmed, “This is truly a community event that has become a tradition within the Westerville City Schools.  The creations and structures students create with no directions are fantastic!”

Registration information is being sent home with each Westerville City School elementary student the week of March 13.  Due to space constraints, registration is limited to Westerville City School and St. Paul students, and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.  E-mail registration confirmations will be sent to all families.  The registration form can be downloaded and printed at the following link: tinyurl.com/2017LegoCompetition .
