A Centenarian Proclamation was presented at the Westerville City Schools Board of Education meeting on June 8 for Frieda Bennett, who celebrated her 100th birthday on May 30. Bennett graduated from Westerville High School (now Hanby) in 1933. Her husband and three children all attended Westerville schools, as did all but one of her four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The Board said they were inspired by her long life and offered her “sincere best wishes for continued good health, happiness, and an overflowing abundance of love and joy.”
