The Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for Westerville City Schools’ Fiscal Year 2019-20 is now available to the community. Unlike the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), school districts and other governmental entities are not required to publish a PAFR.

The PAFR provides a brief summary of the district’s revenues and expenditures as well as other relevant financial trends, offering the public a better understanding of the district’s financial operations and how the district performed financially during the 2019-20 fiscal year.

“The district has prepared this report because we believe our taxpayers have the right to know how their tax dollars are being spent,”  Treasurer/CFO Nicole Marshall said in the report.

The PAFR is prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Any community members interested in a more in-depth look at the district’s finances can use the CAFR for this purpose. Both the FY 2020 PAFR and FY 2020 CAFR are available on the district’s website through the Treasurer/Fiscal Services webpage.
