Thanks to 2020 being a Leap Year, having an extra day in February is the perfect reason to participate in this year’s Westerville Community Bowl-a-Thon on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace, 5707 Forest Hills Boulevard.
Proceeds from the event benefit community youth through the Westerville Symphony, Westerville Education Foundation, and Westerville Scholarship Foundation. Participants may register as a team of five bowlers, or as an individual bowler to be assigned to a team. The team registration fee is $150 and the cost for an individual registration is $30. Bowlers receive two games of bowling, shoe rental, and commemorative t-shirts. Participants can register to bowl from either 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m., or from 2:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. Bowlers are encouraged to register as soon as possible at www.westervillebowlathon.com to secure their spot and assure t-shirt availability.
The event also features an Executive and Principal Challenge time from 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. These participants receive one game of bowling, shoe rental, commemorative t-shirts, a networking luncheon, and the opportunity to secure a year of bragging rights by winning the coveted Bowl-A-Thon bowling pin. Executives and principals will receive recognition before and during the event.
