Five Westerville City elementary schools participated in Kids Heart Challenge activities last year to earn money for the American Heart Association. At the conclusion of the 2018-2019 school year, a whopping $24,193 had been raised for the organization. Participants were Alcott, Annehurst, Cherrington, Hawthorne and McVay elementary schools.
The money will be used for improving patient care; research; advocating for better health; raising awareness; protecting the future; educating Americans; and reaching out to populations at risk. Learn more at https://www.facebook.com/groups/KidsHeartChallenge.
