Westerville Sunrise Rotary recently donated more than 25 books to the Westerville City Schools as well as $500 to purchase multi-lingual and diverse books for students and teachers.

Over the course of her tenure, Julie Colley, President of the Westerville Sunrise Rotary, has presented and read excerpts from a book at each meeting that has a connection with the guest speaker and may align with the season.  For example, upcoming months include books about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., women’s history, and Earth Day.  Each book has also been signed by the guest speaker and reflects upon a life lesson as the Sunrise Rotary’s focus for this year is “Making a Difference.”  These books will be distributed to buildings and teachers and will be further supported through professional development opportunities throughout the course of the year.
