For the second year, Westerville McDonalds, owned by Linda and Myron Ware, donated meals to all 10 Westerville Area Lids Lunch Club sites and provided back-to-school backpacks.  Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) makes nutritional lunches available to area neighborhoods throughout the summer months.  McDonald’s Day took place at each site before school resumed.  Linda Ware, along with Ronald McDonald, Dominic Angelone, McDonalds District Manager, and Ronae McLin, McDonalds Associate, showed up to help distribute Happy Meals and new backpacks filled with school supplies to all participating youngsters.  Ware said, “Serving the community in any way we can is what McDonalds is all about.  I love the fact that we can help students begin the school year with a positive outlook and let them know there are people here in Westerville who care about them and are here to support them”.

Cheryl Wooten, WARM’s Director of Development and Communications, responded, “We can all say, in unison, ‘I’m lovin’ it!’”
