Welcome to 2nd grade! I am excited and grateful to be a part of your child's learning this school year. In my classroom we are like a family, and we will work together respectfully as we dive in to all of the fun and exciting 2nd grade curriculum!
I began teaching at Hanby Elementary in 2012. I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Ashford University and my post-baccalaureate teaching licensure from Otterbein University. I received my Masters degree in Health and Wellness Education from the American College of Education. My passion is in social emotional learning and mental health wellness.
My husband, Ryan, and I live in Sunbury and have 4 children. Ryan teaches 7th grade social studies at Big Walnut Middle School. Some of my favorite things to do in my spare time are gardening, reading, decorating, listening to live music, and watching OSU football.
