The Westerville City Schools Board of Education, on May 20, honored 24 retiring employees representing, collectively, 500 years of combined experience from the licensed and classified staff.  “Regardless of where this phase of your life’s journey takes you, please know how proud we are of the work you have accomplished during your time here,” said board member Rick Vilardo.  A reception in honor of the eight retirees who attended was held before the meeting, where they were formally recognized.  Each received a certificate, lapel pin, and coaster made by students in the Westerville North High School Shop.
